“I am a 29-year-old mother of 2 and worked with Abigael in Spring/Summer 2025. Abigael was the first doula I worked with. My goal in working with a doula was to have a VBAC to avoid major surgery from another C-section. From the start, Abigael was a wonderful support to me in reaching my goal, and a friendly, warm, and down-to-earth presence amid my questions and curiosities about the birth process. She was consistent in follow-up, attentive to my wishes, and presented me with a plethora of information about my options for contraction pain management. Under her guidance, I labored at home for 12 hours and made it to the hospital at 5 cm dilated! Throughout my birth experience, she was calm and advocated for me, holding my hand during the epidural, bringing me Powerade, and never pressuring me to do a procedure I wasn’t comfortable with. An Incredibly Positive and Blessed Experience with Abbie! As a first time mom, I cannot speak highly enough about the support and care I received from Abbie. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she was not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply compassionate. She took the time to get to know our preferences, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable and supported throughout my entire pregnancy journey. She was great with communication and provided us with resources throughout pregnancy for birth prep. When labor came, Abbie was calm, present, and prepared. She gave us reassurance and confidence in our birth plan/decisions throughout, while respecting the space and prioritizing baby's health. She was present throughout all of labor (A LONG TIME) and was able to help me try different positions, offer hands on support and holistic pain relief strategies, prayer, Bible verses, positive affirmations and encouraged me to eat & drink. Her presence made all the difference—I felt empowered and confident knowing she was there advocating for me and my baby. What truly stands out about Abbie is her ability to create a warm, non-judgmental space, no matter what the circumstances, and her shared faith which allowed me to open up and feel comfortable having her at my birth. She was prepared during the labor process and helped my husband and I feel confident. Thanks to her support and expertise, I felt so much more prepared for the challenges of labor and postpartum. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula, and I highly recommend her to anyone. Bringing my baby home and stepping into motherhood was a major transition for me as a first-time mom, but having Abigail by my side made all the difference.

She helped me build confidence in everything from bathing my baby to setting up a smooth pumping and bottle station, using the baby wrap comfortably, and understanding the mechanics of latching. When I needed additional support, she thoughtfully connected me with a lactation consultant so I never felt alone.

Beyond the practical help, our conversations and her genuine investment in my recovery meant so much. She was calm, proactive, and deeply attentive. I never had to figure out how I needed help because she anticipated it.
